The times they are a changin'

A very Happy 2012 to all my readers.

Here is a sign of things to come.

Privatisation has come to Listowel Town Council. All the town council refuse bins are now rebranded with the KWD logo. Soon a Listowel Town Council bin will be a relic of another era.

The site of the old mart is cleared for development. This is how it looked on a wet December day.

A feature of the recession is the emergence of the "pop up shop".

I went out and about with camera this fine Monday morning and I called in to review progress on the clearing of the mart.
